NIRVANA
============
The man who sold the world
-------------------------------------------
(Mtv unplugged in new york)
Originally by David Bowie
This tab is for those people like me who couldn`t be bothered to detune their guitars to play tunes. Cobain, Grohl and Noveselic play this tuned down a semi-tone on the album (1 fret lower) but I can never be bothered to do this so I retabbed it in normal tuning but the notes wind up being the same as on the CD. Clever, huh?

Oh no
Not me
I never lost control
You`re face
To face
With the man who sold the world (Main riff comes in now)
The next verse comes in with the exact same rhythm set to these words:
Verse 2
======
I laughed and shook his hand
Made my way back home
I searched from farther land
Years and years I roamed
I gazed all gazers there
We walked a million hills
I must have died alone
A long long time ago
Chorus 2
=======
As previous
Main riff
=======
Bit of variation up on the ninth fret towards the end of this bit but it`s piss easy if you listen to the cd
Solo
====
Very simple and easy to play. Easier when detuned but this is for all you lazy guys/girls out there like myself.

Solo riff X 2
I play more notes than Kurt but a delay unit would work well I think. The entire song finishes on a Cm and the 4th note on the d-string.
That`s more or less it, I advise you listen to the cd and work out your own alterations and effects. Enjoy.

Kurt Cobain, RIP, 8/4/94
It`s better to burn out than to fade away
I must have died alone
