The Belt Song — текст песни (Jim)

Sometimes I wear a belt to keep my pants from falling to the floor, and if
my pants should fit without my belt I don`t wear it anymore. Sometimes I
drink a beer for breakfast if there`s nothing else to eat, and if my toes
get cold I`ll wrap a pair of socks around my feet. And if I`m feeling tired
I`ll take time out to crawl into my bed, and if I`m bored with doing one
thing I`ll do something else instead. And if I feel like doing nothing, or
there`s nothing to be done, I`ll sit and ponder nothing blankly until
nothing seems like fun
Refrain: Life`s fairly easy for me if I try, to sit back and watch as it
passes me by...
The worst thing to happen to me would be death, my troubles ain`t worth the
attention they get.
Some days I go out of my way to try to catch a pretty face, sometimes I
think that there`s not one worth catching in the whole damn race. Sometimes
I stare up in the sky and wonder what is really there, and then on second
thought I decide that I really just don`t care. Some days I wake up in the
morning, and I don`t get out of bed, and it always seems more fun than if
I`d gotten up instead. Sometimes I wear a belt to keep my pants from
falling to the floor, and if my pants should fit without my belt I don`t
wear it anymore.
(solo) (Refrain 2x)
