Natural Harmonic
The natural harmonic is achieved quite easily ONCE you get the hang of it. Place your finger on the string ever so lightly as to not push the string down to
the fretboard. Pick the string behind the treble pickup for best results, and remove your fretting finger from the string very quickly. Certain natural
harmonics sound much better than others. Experiment on your own! A harmonic sounds similar to the ringing of a bell. When done correctly the harmonic
will ring even after you`ve set the guitar down. Strong harmonics can be found on the 5th, 7th, and 12th frets. Once you`ve mastered those, try getting
the ones on the 3rd, 2.7th (as in two and seven tenths.), and 2.3rd. A good example of natural harmonics, are those found in the beginning of Linkin Park`s,
One Step Closer and of course, this song, In The End
